Refurbished St Leonards Tesco celebrates with school donation

Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy teaching assistant Sandra Christie was the guest of honour when the new Tesco Express store in Holmhurst Village reopened on August 2.
As part of the opening celebrations, store manager Sarah Lee and her team presented Sandra with a cheque for £500.

Hide Ad“We have really enjoyed our store launch celebrations and I would like to thank Sandra for joining us,” Sarah said.
“We are delighted to support Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy with our £500 donation as they are a great school which carries out such invaluable work in the St Leonards community.”
Sandra along with Little Ridge pupils Isabelle Fowlie, 6, Louis Wild, 5, Anthony Fowlie, 7, Freya Delves, 6 and Hattie Morton-Davagh, 6, cut a ribbon and declared the new store officially open.
The store chose to donate to the school as part of its commitment to supporting the community.

Hide AdThe academy’s executive principal Lorraine Clarke said: “We are delighted that Tesco continue to support families and children in the area.
“They are an important part of the Little Ridge community and we would like to thank them for their generous donation.”
The store is open seven days a week from 6am until 11pm.
Parking is also available to customers in front of the store.
“We are hearing very positive feedback from our new customers,” Sarah added.
