Pavement near Eastbourne seafront is dangerous
On Wednesday afternoon on October 7 I tripped and fell, sustaining a complicated fracture of my wrist requiring an open reduction and a plate.
Whilst I am not always sure-footed, in this case the dangerous condition of the pavement outside the vets in Channel View Road was clearly evident.

Hide AdI wish to thank the Good Samaritan, accompanied by her two black cocker poodles, for staying with me and keeping me calm until the ambulance arrived, in spite of a painful hand bent double!
Also the workman who lent me his coat and made me a cup of tea, which my friend Margaret Wakefield drank as I was advised not to drink liquids!
She in turn made arrangements for my local dog sitter to look after my dog Noonoo who was ‘home alone’ awaiting my return.
Needless to say, this pavement needs attention to prevent any further accidents and potentially more serious injuries occurring!
