OUT IN THE FIELD: Suggestions on a postcard please
The Winter Night Shelter at the Salvation Army is one of my favourite charities locally and as always the volunteers are treated to a superb meal each year as a thank you for their efforts in running it. Last Saturday was no exception when once again Steven Holt whipped up a delectable three course feast for more than 50 people that wouldn’t look out of place in a fine restaurant.
Thanks this week to Nat Gonella for sending in this photograph of our lovely clock at the railway station which it would appear is starting to show signs of ageing. Look carefully at the photo and you can see masonry crumbling and lodging behind the clock face.

Hide AdI absolutely love the graffiti adorning the hoarding surrounding the old BT Exchange in Moy Avenue at the moment. It’s a great idea to provide a colourful and interesting backdrop and makes me smile every time I drive past it.
