The event was to have taken place over the second weekend of August at a new show ground at Horns Cross, between Staplecross and Beckley.
Rural Past Times is a family friendly show which has been taking place for the past nine years. It is a working weekend with areas for heavy horses, working tractors, stationary engines, display ring, tractor and trailer rides and live music.

Last year the event raised £4,000, which was shared amongst a selection of chosen charities, the majority being local.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “We have thought long and hard and have made the very hard decision to cancel this year’s Rural Past Times show.
“The decision has been made in the best interests of the future of the show and the people who attend it. Hopefully soon, the COVID-19 virus will cease to cause such havoc in our lives and some normality of socialising can resume.
