£7,500 cheque given to St Wilfrid’s Hospice
Following the phenomenal fundraising success of Covers’ charity campaign, ‘Help for Hospices’, which raised a total of £27,000 for hospices across the south-east, Covers Home Ideas in Chichester welcomed the celebrity.
Christopher was tasked with drawing the winners of the ‘grand raffle’.

Hide AdProceeds from the raffle’s ticket sales, which were sold across the company’s 14 branches throughout the campaign, contributed to the final fundraising figure, which included a donation from Covers of more than £21,000.
Following the raffle draw, a cheque of £7,500, representing a proportion of the money raised during the compaign, was presented by the chairman of Covers, Rupert Green, to the chief executive of St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Alison Moorey.
The remaining money will be shared among ten other hospice charities in the south-east including Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice in Arundel.
