Rustington photographer keen to focus on future
Trevor Burtenshaw, 63, has opened TP Photographic, in Churchill Court, Rustington, after retiring from the civil service.
Having lived in Cornwall for much of his career, keeping-up his passion along the way, he decided to take the plunge into business in his retirement years.

Hide AdHe said: “I thought that it has been a good few years since Rustington had a photography studio, and I knew going back to the days when I worked for the camera shop, it was always busy.
“Plus, if I hadn’t gone for it, in three or four years, I would have been sitting there wondering what could have been.”
Mr Burtenshaw secured his first job in Rustington Cameras, in The Street, in 1967, and was trained in various types of photography by Gordon and Beryl Howlett.
He said: “Gordon came in to see me last week. He thought it was great.
“Beryl, his wife, used to say ‘do what you feel is right’, so I did.”
