Major disruption to trains between Ashford International, Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes and Brighton
A safety inspection of the track is currently taking place between Bexhill and Lewes, meaning all lines via Eastbourne are disrupted.

Disruption is expected to continue until 4pm.
Southern said major disruption is affecting its services on routes between Ashford International, Hastings, Eastbourne, Lewes and Brighton.
The line from Bexhill towards Eastbourne is closed due to a safety inspection of the track in the Normans Bay area.
Journeys are likely to take up to 90 minutes longer than usual for passengers travelling on the section of the route between Ashford International, Hastings and Eastbourne.

Hide AdPassengers may also need to use a replacement bus or an alternative route to complete your journey.
The line from Hampden Park towards Lewes has now reopened, following a safety inspection of the track in the Berwick area, Southern said.
