Horsham YMCA stalwart Carden takes over as manager
Carden is a veteran of YM teams, having first appeared for the club in a cup match against Burgess Hill Town in August 2002. Since then he has been a stalwart in defence, an on-field leader and made a club record total of 508 appearances.
YMCA said: "Dean is widely respected in the game and will bring his enthusiasm and wealth of football experience to his new role at the club.

Miller had stepped up from assistant manager to manager in the summer, when Peter Buckland resigned.
Acting YM chairman Mike Whiteford stated: “We are looking forward to Dean leading the way in building a more experienced, competitive team within the County League whilst continuing to provide opportunities for ‘home grown’ players from our successful youth football structure.”
