Rooks blow as goal ace Cade sits out

The Rooks will be missing prolific striker Jamie Cade for five to six weeks after he damaged ankle ligaments in a training accident on Thursday last week.

Cade is Lewes's top Conference South goalscorer this season with five and will be sorely missed for tonight's visit from Bishops Stortford as crowd favourite Jean-Michel Sigere is still struggling for match fitness.

Manager Steve King said: 'Cade's injury is a blow but at least Paul Booth is off the transfer list now and happy after we had a heart-to-heart, and I can also call on Ludovic Dje, who came on as a substitute in the FA Cup win at Hendon on Saturday.'
