Bognor rugby lads are too strong for Burgess Hill
After losing the toss, immediate pressure from the Bognor squad paid off and in less than five minutes inside centre Will Ford scored the first of his two tries under the Burgess Hill posts.
The pressure continued and outside centre Will Cullen charged over the line to score the first of his four tries two minutes later.

Hide AdAfter a brief fightback from Burgess Hill, flanker Adam Booker ripped the ball free from a maul and ran through the opposition defence to score the first of his two tries.
The hoops forwards put on an impressive performance, winning almost every single scrum and giving the backs plenty of scoring opportunities.
The second half was played into the wind and sun but Bognor spent virtually the entire half in opposition territory.
The six second-half tries were scored by Will Cullen, Patrick Smart (2), Adam Booker, Ben Elliott and Cameron Meyer.

Bognor got their season off to a flying start. Bognor’s early pressure was rewarded as George Humphrey went over for the first try.
Jamie Woolnough scored the second, followed by an easy conversion for Ben Luxton.
Eastbourne scored a breakaway try to make it 12-5 by half-time.

Eastbourne pressed hard against a solid Bognor defence and their persistence paid off with a try.
Bognor’s defence maintained their composure and resisted any further score.
