Five candidates are lined up to contest a by-election in Chichester District Council's East Wittering ward on Thursday, October 23.
The vacancy has been caused by the resignation of Conservative Sevey Mastronardi, who served since the council elections in May last year. He resigned for family reasons.
Candidates in the field are:
Graeme Barrett (Con); Andrew Emerson (BNP);
Mary Ellen Green (Lib Dem); James McCulloch (UKIP); Joe O'Sullivan (Lab).
Hours of polling will be from 7am until 10pm, and polling stations will be at Earnley Concourse, Earnley; East Wittering Village Hall, in Church Road, East Wittering, and the Royal British Legion Club, in Legion Way, Bracklesham.
The successful candidate will serve on the district council until May, 2011.
