The incident occurred on A2270 Eastbourne Road in Lower Willingdon this morning (Monday, May 30). Police confirmed officers were called at 8.09am. According to police, the car ended up on its roof after hitting a lamppost. The vehicle has now been recovered, police say. The ambulance service has been contacted for more information.
